OLTL's Susan Haskell (Marty) had a blast when she visited fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger's showroom and got to try on the newest items in his fabulous line of men's' clothing.
"It was so much fun," Susan says, radiating enthusiasm. "Tommy has great stuff - nice, casual, comfortable stuff. Lots of oversized T-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets and coats."
Susan was thrilled with her sneak peek at Hilfiger's spring and summer line, which features plenty of colorful and comfortable outfits.
The beautiful Emmy award-winning actress, who has worn lots of fabulous clothing during her modeling career, looks good in anything she wears. But she particularly adores men's clothing.
"I do! Men have such comfortable stuff to wear. We're not allowed to be comfortable unless we steal their clothing," Susan says with a teasing laugh. "Whenever my sister Carolyn and I visit our folks, we always try to take home one of our father's sweaters. Last year we snagged a beautiful beige cashmere button-down sweater that's so soft and comfortable," she says, her eyes lighting up at the memory.
Susan's not mistaken about style, either! Take a gander at how good she looks in Tommy's bold solid colors, stripes and polka dots.
A slouchy cream and beige coat show- cases Tommy's draped linen pants with tfine vertical stripes, topped with a soft, almost gray buttoned vest with discreet lapels.
Accompanied by a headless scuba diver, Susan's a vision in yellow, white and navy, and a perfect illustration of how well Tommy's clothes can be mixed and matched.
With a quizzical look, Susan takes the arm of her headless partner. She wears Tommy's baggy blue and white striped shorts and weather- ized striped jacket that would be perfect for sailing.
Toting a signature Hilfiger gym bag, Susan rolls up her deck pants and dons a navy and white striped shirt; she looks all set for sea travel.
For a new look, Susan adds a bright red jacket and a splashy silk Hilfiger tie to Tommy's striped shirt.
