When ONE LIFE TO LIVE's Susan Haskell (Marty) isn't working 14-hour days at OLTL, she's enjoying quality time with her and Thorsten Kaye's (Zach, AMC) two daughters, so it's a rare treat to chat with Haskell, who called us for this week's exciting news story. Haskell recently brought McKenna, 6, and Marlowe, 2, to a fan event in Florida, and we got to talking about the various charities she and Kaye have supported over the years. "Thorsten just wrote a book of children's poetry and it's called A Solid Wheel of Colored Ribbons," she proudly revealed. "His friend illustrated it and all the proceeds go to pediatric cancer [research]. It is affiliated with the [Detroit] Red Wings charities. I can't even ... I get choked up thinking about it!" To purchase a copy of the book, head to http://thorstenkaye.com/ribbons. "A certain number were published and they're going very quickly," she adds. "It's a lovely, lovely book."
