ARTICLES IF MEMORY SERVES SOAP OPERA DIGEST - JULY 15, 2008  Susan Haskell admits that upon reprising the role of ONE LIFE TO LIVE'S Marty, she hadn't kept up with the character's last stint in Llanview (then played by Christina Chambers from 2006-07).  "I said to Frank [Valentini, executive producer], 'I gotta be honest with you, I have not been watching.  I need to know some history.  I have no idea what's going on, so I kinda need to do my homework before I step into this thing,'" she recalls.  "He was like, 'Oh, that'll be easy.  You don't remember anything!'  The funny thing was, I was talking to [significant other] Thorsten [Kaye, Zach, AMC] and we were trying to figure out if this is something we wanted to do as a family.  We were just kinda going back and forth and then I thought, 'Oh, I wonder what they're gonna do with the story.  Wouldn't it be cool if I just didn't remember anything?'  And then bingo!  That's what happened.  So I thought that was great. It means I'm not playing the same thing over and over again."
